Whats so great about Star Craft and RTS

I didn't really feel what was so awesome about these type of games. Can someone explain

What do you mean by these kind?

It means the game doesnt progress in turns. In the other word, you just macro (control your economic) and micro (control your units) simultaneously to destroy your opponent while your opponent doing the same without taking turns like chess or Final Fantasy kind, your APM (action per min) is the key to win, the more you can do at the same time, the bigger your economic will become and the more sufficiency your units are controlled

In SC2, to win is to destroy all the structures not all units. This game requires alot of skills, like scouting, map awereness, microing and macroing, timing attack and strat going, using maps' terrains.

hmmm i like these time of games like lord of the rings? i think yes or no?

Wow starcraft really takes a lot of brain power. Its not my cup o' tea I like action and some rpgs.

I like this type of game because it's a Strategy game, simple as that. :]

we never got round to playing it since flash games have consumed use for the past 3 years
